Children's Cookery Days

Children's Cookery Event Dates
- Monday 15 February - Friday 19 February 2010 (one week course)
- Tuesday 13 April - Friday 16 April 2010 (four day course)
- Monday 26 July - Friday 30 July 2010 (one week course)
Children can attend individual days of the one-week & 4-day courses
The above dates have been set aside for Children's Cookery Days. We find that school holidays differ so much it is impossible to select dates to suit everybody. Therefore we also offer an ad-hoc programme for groups of 4-8 young friends on a mutually convenient date and we create a course to suit their skills. If the dates above are not suitable, please telephone to arrange a mutually convenient date during the school holidays or term time weekends.
Fees
- Full Day: £60.00 per child
- Half Day: £35.00 per child
- 4 Days Full Day: £200.00 per child
- 1 Week Full Day: £250.00 per child
- 1 Week Half Day: £150.00 per child
FULL DAY: We start at 10.15 a.m. with soft drinks on arrival and the students cook until lunch time when they eat the two course meal that they have prepared during the morning session. In the afternoon each student prepares one completed dish to take home. The day ends at about 3.30 p.m.
HALF DAY: We start at 10.15 a.m. with soft drinks on arrival and the students cook until lunch time when they eat the two course meal that they have prepared during the morning session. The morning session would end at 1.15 p.m.
The essence of the day is to teach important skills in a fun environment and enable the children to taste the fruits of their labours and those attending a full day, show their parents an example of their day’s efforts.
